Patricia Carbo
Patricia Carbo studied environmental chemistry at Leeds University and then spent 3 years in SouthWales doing an industrially-based PhD on the removal of colour and manganese from drinking water. Her background is mainly in analytical geochemistry, with a bias towards 'environmental' topics. Her role in CYCLOPS involves both science and administration. She measures dissolved organic phosphorus in marine samples from the CYCLOPS experimental cruises and, as an assistant to the co-ordinator, her work also involves updating the website, data management and collating reports.
